More than a place to stay
A part of Nilambur, kept with pride
Teak Town is a 70-year-old ancestral home in traditional Kerala style, set within six acres of gardens and fruit orchards on the edge of the Nilgiris.
It stands in a land defined by teak — Nilambur is where the world's first teak plantation was raised, in 1844. The same wood that shaped this town shaped our home: handpicked teak, cool tiled floors, wide verandas open to birdsong.
We don't run a resort. We open our home — so you can slow down and discover a quieter, older, greener side of Kerala.
